Our Story
Rebuilding Stories One Life at a Time

Everything started back in 2008 when Founders Miguel & Janelle Adorno began to feel God tug on their heart to get into community and stand in the gap for those in need. And suddenly, what was just a dream, or an idea almost impossible to reach, is now called The Dream Center.

What We Do?
At the Dream Center, we serve as a community resource hub dedicated to meeting the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of families, youth, and seniors in Osceola County. Through programs like Manna for Life (food pantry), Dream Kidz & Youth Alliance (youth empowerment and prevention), and Senior Support Services, we provide care that strengthens families and builds healthier communities.
Why we do it?
We believe every person deserves dignity, hope, and opportunity. Our “why” is simple: to see lives transformed. We exist to stand in the gap for those facing hardship; whether it’s hunger, lack of resources, or generational cycles, and to bring restoration through compassion, prevention, and empowerment.
HOW WE DO IT?
-
By meeting immediate needs (food, hygiene, support) through consistent, accessible programs.
-
By investing in the next generation with prevention-focused youth programs, mentorship, and safe opportunities for growth.
-
By partnering with local churches, schools, and community organizations to expand impact.
-
By volunteer engagement and community ownership, creating a movement of neighbors helping neighbors.
Our Mission
Our Vision
The Dream Center exists to serve and strengthen Central Florida communities by empowering youth through advocacy, prevention, and job readiness, supporting seniors, and providing food security through our pantry and quarterly food distributions; restoring hope and rebuilding lives one family at a time.
We envision healthy, thriving communities where youth are equipped to rise, seniors are supported with dignity, and families have access to essential resources; breaking cycles of poverty and crisis while building futures filled with hope, purpose, and opportunity.
